Conveyant Systems, Inc.’s Sentry E911 Solutions Now Rated “Avaya Compliant”

Conveyant’s Sentry application is compatible with Avaya IP Office

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: 3 March 2015, Tustin, CA — Conveyant Systems, a leading supplier of Emergency Location Management Solutions and PC-based Attendant Consoles, today announced that its Sentry E911 Solution is compliant with IP Office from Avaya, a global provider of solutions that enable customer and team engagement across multiple channels and devices for better customer experience, increased productivity and enhanced financial performance.

Sentry Emergency Location Management Solutions help enterprises provide immediate, reliable and accurate information and response when an emergency call is made. The application is now compliance-tested by Avaya for compatibility with Avaya IP Office 9.0 and 9.1.

“One of the many benefits of being an Avaya Technology Partner is the compliance testing available through the DevConnect Program,” said Tim Kenyon, ENP, President Conveyant Systems, Inc. “The knowledge and expertise available to us through DevConnect is invaluable, providing our mutual customers with the knowledge that our products have successfully completed compliance testing. We look forward to the opportunity to offer customers reliable, cost-effective E911 solutions on Avaya IP Office, and assist them in getting more out of their communications infrastructure.”

Conveyant Systems is a Technology Partner in the Avaya DevConnect program—an initiative to develop, market and sell innovative third-party products that interoperate with Avaya technology and extend the value of a company’s investment in its network. Its Sentry E911 Solution is available through the DevConnect Select Product Program.

As a Technology Partner, Conveyant Systems is eligible to submit products for compliance testing by the Avaya Solution Interoperability and Test Lab. There, a team of Avaya engineers develops a comprehensive test plan for each application to verify whether it is Avaya compatible. Doing so enables businesses to confidently add best-in-class capabilities to their network without having to replace their existing infrastructure—speeding deployment of new applications and reducing both network complexity and implementation costs.

“Technology Partners like Conveyant Systems are helping Avaya provide customers with the latest technology available to provide an immediate and accurate response in an emergency,” said Eric Rossman, vice president, Developer Relations, Avaya. “Avaya’s Safe School Solution is an example of Avaya and Technology Partner Conveyant Systems working together to offer schools reliable communications systems to help meet their emergency response needs.”
